April 16 and 17, 2013 - German Pavilion in Hannover, Germany

The ProSTEP iViP Symposium is the leading independent PLM conference. 500 experts and decision-makers from industry and research are expected to come together for this two-day conference.

Openness for Global Success: These days there is hardly a company – be it in the automotive, aerospace, machine engineering or shipbuilding industry – for which globalization is not a key issue. When talking about PLM, industry is seeking for solutions assuring agility and flexibility. With respect to PLM, freedom of choice is becoming more and more importance when decision-makers are talking about competitiveness and innovation. How can companies collaborate on a global scale yet still take local considerations into account? How can efficient development and manufacturing networks be created and operated in a flexible manner? How can an Extended Enterprise be implemented successfully? Answers and experiences concerning related methods, processes and IT will be subject of this years Symposium.

Within nearly 40 presentations and a half-dozen workshops, experienced and industry-wide known experts from manufacturing industry, research and science, and IT companies present both new and proven approaches to solving problems involving every aspect of PLM in three parallel sessions. At the parallel exhibition, over 20 of the leading IT companies showcase their innovative products and services. First-class keynote speeches from Brose, Siemens PLM, Volkswagen and others enrich this event to become the highest level forum of PLM networking, PLM technology, PLM strategy and future PLM vision.
